SARS-CoV2 MS Publications

 

This laboratory led Australia's response to the SARS-CoV2 virus with mass spectrometry since 2020. We have developed and applied our approaches to detect SARS-CoV2 virus, resolve and distinguish its sub-variants and identify recombinant forms, in clinical specimens. We have also reviewed MS based approaches for doing so, including many from new entrants to the field, in the first comprehensive review of the subject (TrAC 2021). Our expertise in the detection and characterisation of viruses with MS, and particularly respiratory viruses, for over 25 years, has catalysed this research.  Follow this link for a full list of publications describing our virus research.
